Yearly Assessment 2016

It is always a blessing to hear from pastor Joseph, and just get a feel for the ministry work and the gospel seeds that are being planted. There certainly are many needs to keep the work going. It is a blessing to be a small part of the Lord's work in Malawi.
Charity is growing fast!
Blessings

HAVE THE PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2017!!!!!!!

                                             YEARLY ASSESSMENT,DECEMBER 2016

Thank you for trusting us with your dollars and various helps and prayers that have advanced the ministry in Malawi with the harvest of souls numbering in the thousands. Many have been taught the word of God where there was no teaching helps.Churches have been established and buildings erected to house the multitudes seeking spiritual guidance. At times it may seem that what you give is not making a difference, but  I can assure you that souls are being added to the kingdom of God and it is because of your selfless giving!

Here are some of the blessings in the year 2016.

    Charity  was born in September.

Our prayers for the truck was answered in May.
The visit of the whole Schenimann family in September.
Construction of our house from November.
Feeding of the elderly, orphans and the needy from May.
Three churches were erected and have good roof of iron sheets.
Six Bible Institute graduates are now pa storing churches.

You can be the answer to someone's  "cry"in this third poorest country in the world. We thank God for all who desire to come and help with the tasks that are overwhelming.

Before we open the Bible Institute in May this year we are scheduling time teaching/meetings in Salima,Balaka,Mangochi and Dedza that will last from 3 to 5 days each.We have many churches and started some in these areas. They have been asking for teaching assistance and we are going to assist them to the best of our ability. We will take as much printed materials as our vehicle can hold and Lord willing we can impart a spiritual blessing on them.

The effects of crop failure for the past two years is now having a devastating effect and daily we have people coming to us hungry and in search of food. For the past months, thankfully we were able to help people thanks to the donation received but now we don't have any food left. Please pray for us.

We planned to visit the sick and the prisoners on Christmas, unfortunately we failed to fulfill that schedule because we had no money. But God had a different plan for us.There was a funeral the same day.Funerals are too common here in Malawi. After the church service we went to the funeral.I was sharing the Gospel with some people who were around me when we were coming from the graveyard.Among them was an old man in his ninety s after receiving the Lord as his Savior he made these comments, "I am now ready to die because I know where I will be going."

It is our prayer to reach the masses in 2017 with the Gospel in villages and towns, teach them one on one.Continue with the Jesus film, youth, women, men, marriage and children ministries.Starting new churches and continue with the Bible Institute and  lord willing starting a christian school.Remember there is a heaven to be sought and a hell to be shunned.

December also brought rainy season to our doorsteps with the pattern of one day of the rain, one day of the sunshine. The maize (corn) is growing with leaps and bounds and people are out weeding their gardens every day.
The electricity had been horrible for the year 2016 in Malawi, gradually increasing the hours of being shut off. This has affected our plan of irrigation at the Bible Institute. We are praying to change from depending on electricity to solar irrigation system.

Again, thank you for your prayers and support.

                                                             By His grace and mercy,
                                  Joseph,Mercy,Matthews,Blessings,Praise,Ruth and Charity.
