March Prayer letter

Dear fellow laborers in God's field,

Mercy and I are so grateful to you for upholding us and the ministry with your faithful prayers and support. The work of our Lord in Malawi is going strong, and many are coming to know the Lord.Your fervent prayers and sacrificial financial help are bringing forth great results, and we are experiencing a real harvest of souls.Let us keep rejoicing for what the Holy Spirit is doing to bring many into the kingdom of God.

Once again the month of February have been filled with plenty of things to do as well as watching God prepare us and take care of our needs on the road.God is doing what only God can do! Drawing people to Himself through faith in His son,the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is building His church and what a privilege we have to be involved in His mission.Thank you to all those who pray, encourage, support financially and take a real interest in what God is doing through Bread of Life Baptist ministries in Malawi.

REVIVAL CONFERENCE
Edna giving gospel tracts
We had a three days revival conference from 27 February to 1 March. As part of the conference we organized  soccer trophy between our soccer team and Zalengera soccer club. Our main purpose was to spread the gospel to multitudes at a given time.Meanwhile Malawi population is over 16 million people now and over 80% of the inhabitants follow sports, chiefly soccer.Sports can also help in the spread of the gospel.
In the evening we met to rejoice over every "win' from the day.Sometimes the 'win' would be seeing an individual  confessing Jesus as their Lord and savior or one of our members sharing the gospel for the first time.I remember Ellen being overcome with excitement as she told us about praying with a handful of boys at the football pitch to receive Jesus into their lives.Their tears showed the Holy Spirit's conviction was very present. We had so much to cerebrate that day.Over 2500 gospel tracts were passing out to people. Many people prayed the sinners prayer.
Joseph baptize after revival service
I 'm so thankful to God for giving our church members the opportunity to invest in His Kingdom. The revival conference had a great impact on our lives and I was blessed to experience it with them. The following day 31 people felt it was important to publicly display an ordinance of God.We had a baptismal service where 31 people were baptized.

MARRIAGE CONFERENCE
Where there is anything that's designed, there is a designer.God, the mastermind, also has a plan for how marriage works best.It was overwhelming to try and understand God's design and plan for marital love because contracting and varying messages are everywhere. As a result, many couples fall into the trap of looking everywhere but to the Designer to find out what God intended for marriage.
With help we tapped into the design that God has for marriage. We realized that marriage is created out of divine order,is based on a covenant  relationship, reflects our relationship with God and truly has greater impact in our lives than many have assumed.Hopefully, these realization helped us to experience a greater sense of fulfillment and lifelong perspective for our marriage relationship.During the marriage conference 86 families attended and when we were about to end the conference ,I asked the men if they were ready and willing to sign the Resolution promising they will care for their family, protect and serve them.To be faithful to their wife,to love and honor her.
And you know what? 95% of the 86 men realized that they had done wrong and needed forgiveness. Then, signed the Resolution. What an awesome display of God's love and grace they experienced during the meeting.

PRAYER REQUEST
We are asking a few things of you to help keep our ministry going;
1.    We ask that if you do not already support us that you pray about taking us on.
2.    Continue praying for the sick and suffering saints in Malawi to be restored to good health and many others who are still affected or effected  by the floods.

We want to see God raising up new people, called and supported to continue this great work of making disciples of Jesus Christ, the glory of His Name and their eternal salvation. There are places in Malawi with no gospel witness. We are committed to evangelism, discipleship, church planting and training in Malawi.
Thank you to all who are interceding on our behalf with your fervent prayers.Your sacrificial support has enables us to alleviate the suffering of many poor people.Your prayers have also strengthened and enables the christian workers in winning souls and building up the saints by teaching the Word of God.

                  In  His Service,
